Support
Write to support@crewcast.dk. One person reads it, the same one who builds the thing, so you get an answer from someone who knows why it does what it does. Expect a reply within two working days.
What to include
- What you did and what you expected, in a sentence or two.
- The firmware version and serial from the app's puck screen, if it is about the puck.
- The iOS version and device, if it is about the app.
- Your order e-mail, if it is about a purchase or a return.
Before you write
The puck does not show up when adding it. Hold it close to the phone and make sure it is awake: the LED lights when it is. If it was paired to another phone, forget it there first; a puck remembers three phones.
"Pairing failed. Forget the puck and add it again." Do that: open the puck screen, tap Forget, then Add puck. The pairing is rebuilt in a few seconds.
The app says the puck has gone quiet. Move closer, or touch the puck to wake it. If it keeps happening within a few metres, write to us with the firmware version.
No update offered. The puck screen shows "Up to date" when the puck runs the newest firmware we have published. Updates are checked each time the puck connects.
Beta
The iPhone app is in public beta on TestFlight: join here. Beta feedback through TestFlight reaches us too, but e-mail is quicker when you need an answer.
